Midpoint Reflection

What is the primary mission or purpose of the organization you work for? Another way to think about this question is to ask, "What primary services does your organization offer and who does your organization serve? What would be some consequences if your organization didn't exist anymore?"
My internship is in the school, a place where kids learned the knowledge. Their has  many teachers and TA to helped kids get good education.
How has your internship been similar to your expectations?
I expected that i'm going to helped the teacher to assisted the students.
How has it been different than your expectations?
I often do the  paper work more than I assisted the students.
What is similar and/or different about the culture of your internship workplace environment compared to IHSL's school environment? Provide at least two specific examples.
The similarities between my internship and the school are that, they are both school and teachers are very strict, also they are working with each other, and come out with better idea since they are having a conversation, it's very helpful way the kids gain the knowledge.

What new skills have you learned that you can apply at other jobs? For example, have you learned to become a better verbal communicator as a result of interacting with clients each day? If so, how and where could that skill help you get a job in the future?
In this internship I learned many skill such being strict person. I think in order to get successful is to being strict person. Because most kids won't listen to "nice" teacher, they think teacher can be easily bullied if they treat them nicely. Contary, if you being strict to the kids, they will respect you more and learn more stuff in the class.
What kind of relationship do you have with your mentor and co-workers?
I have very friendly relationship with my mentor, she always help me when I need help. For example, in the beginning of my internship, I don't know how to assisted the kids with their classwork, I always told them the answer to help the kids to slove their problems, them she come, she show me the way to help the kids by asking them questions, not just telling the answer, otherwise they will never get the same question right in the next time.
What challenges have you had to overcome? Explain the specific steps you've taken to beat those challenges.
I have hard time to understand what teacher saying, when she tell me to get something to her, I always confuse, and I didn't get the things right, so everytime she sent me one student to follow me to get the things for her. After that, I realized I have to told to her if I don't understand what she saying, otherwise, my english I will never get imporve in english.
How has the altered internship schedule affected you? How have you reorganized your time to make sure you are getting all your classwork done? If you're not getting your assignments done, what can you do for the remaining five weeks to ensure you earn better grades?
I have to manage my time, because everytime after internship I have to go back to school practice tennis, so my time is very shoort. Sometime I have to wake up in the morning to finished my assignment.
You have FIVE WEEKS of internship left. What are two goals do you hope to accomplish during the remaining weeks? These goals could include knowledge you hope to gain or skills you hope to learn.
My goal is to learned more skill from my mentor, she is very good person to work with, also if I have more time, I hope I can with in the office, they have many skills that I never learn before.
